Canvas
This project consists in choosing a person you like or someone that has been really important to you. Then, you take a photo of him or you print one, if in this case, he is someone famous who appears to be in the internet. After this, you begin to draw the picture in a canvas and when drawn, you paint it. The person I chose to draw the canvas was Bono. Bono is the U2 vocalist and leader of the band. He has made a lot of important things throughout the world with the goal of stopping poverty and human discrimination. He has won a noble price and that is why I chose him. Also, I chose him because U2 is my favorite band of rock of all time.
Before starting the Project we needed to practice having a picture and then drawing it in a larger size. After the practice we draw our person in the canvas and after that we needed to made shades on the face with a scale of 1 to 5 also having to do with another exercise we did before. Then we painted it based on the shades and at last we had to paint the back ground with the contrast color we used before. It was really great the effect of the shadows in the painting.

Semester Exam
Drawing a person with letters and words all together is a difficult task. However, this task came to be our first semester exam of 10th Grade. It consisted on taking a picture of someone that mean something for you; it could be any person at all. The next step was tracing its facial important lines with a pencil and this way has a very simple design of the face. The next step was choosing lyrics or maybe writing something meaningful that had to do with the face. Once you had that we started writing it all over the traced lines of the face so that the lines are replaced by the writing. You could give different effects like using pencil and pen to adding shades and making it more professional and maybe using also this technique for writing your name or something else.
This was a very interesting project because we were able to choose we wanted to draw and also write a message on it. I learned had to draw faces just by tracing and ending up with a great drawing. It was truly fun and the person I ended choosing to draw was Edgar Davids. He is a professional football player recognized throughout the world because of his attributes in The Netherlands team and because of how he played with sunglasses. It was a great semester exam and I also had a very good grade, which made me very happy.

Architecture Project
This was our first work that had to do with our new unit of architecture. We needed to research on any type of architecture, a certain building or place, or a architect. I chose a building that I think it’s amazing. The Burj al Arab. It is located in Dubai. The Burj Al Arab is the best hotel in the modern world and the only hotel giving 7 stars from the rest of the world. Its design is so majestic with a lot of luxury.
We had to paste at least 2 pictures of the building or type of architecture and also mark structures that are commonly used in architect. This was a very interesting project to introduce us into architecture. I learned a lot of thing about this architect. I also got a lot interesting on architecture and that made me do some great designs on the next work.
